After being in a self-imposed quarantine for almost two weeks due to the flu, I've been outside today. Making sure I held my distance to people, I got some sun on my face and saw some people. And it seemed to me that the people of Oslo takes the Corona virus seriously. They're outside, but they keep their distance. They're outside, playing with their children and getting some fresh air and sun.
Oslo in March 2020
The city had a different feeling during this time. People were adapting to new ways of being together while staying apart. It was a unique moment in history that I wanted to document through my photography.
A photographer's perspective
Even during uncertain times, life continues and there are moments worth capturing. The resilience of people and the quiet beauty of a city adapting to new circumstances made for compelling photography.
